Biography

Born in 1984 in Sumida, Tokyo.
He began practicing calligraphy under the influence of his great-grandfather and grandmother.

2007
Graduated from the Department of Calligraphy, Faculty of Letters, Daito Bunka University
2010
Began his career as a calligrapher
2013
Opened his Roppongi studio and classroom
2017
Opened Hakujitsukyo in Kagurazaka
2023
Founded Sillage Inc. and began his work as a designer under the Sillage label

  • Milan, Italy: Exhibited and performed at the Cool Japan Salone (METI, Expo Milano)
  • Turkey (5 cities, 6 institutions): Traveling exhibition and cultural exchange in calligraphy
  • Lisbon, Portugal: Performance and cultural exchange at the Japan Festival organized by the Japanese Embassy
  • New York, USA: Group and solo exhibitions, live performances at The Nippon Club
  • Other: France (Paris), China (Shanghai), Indonesia (Jakarta), Singapore, the Philippines, Laos
